INGREDIENTS
METHOD 1.Preheat the oven for 300 2.Beat sugar & butter until soft &creamy. 3.Gradually add the eggs, beating continously. 4.Sieve maida &baking powder. 5.Fold in the flour and spices, then the fruit nuts and lemon juice. 6.Mix everything well. 7.Pour into baking pan, bake it for 1 to 11/2hours. 8.Test the cake by inserting a skewer or knife into it-when pulled out it
should be clean but dump.
