LADDU

 

INGREDIENTS

Gram flour 1 cup
Sugar 2 cup
Fried cashewnuts 1 tsp
Cloves 3
Cardamom 3
Candy sugar (kalkandu) 1 tsp
Yellow food color 2 pinch
Oil for deep fry

METHOD

1.Make a thick batter of gram flour with water & one pinch yellow food color.

2.Add little water & one pinch food color.

3.Make a sugar syrup.it should be one string consistency. remove from the fire.

4.Heat oil  and sieve the gram flour batter through the big spoon with tiny holes.

5.Fry on a low flame till golden & crisp .Drain the oil from the boondies.

6.Add to the sugar syrup.Press the boonies with wooden spoon.

7.Add  crushed cloves, cardamom, candy sugar &   cashewnuts

8.Make a  shape into laddus or small balls.
